The Independent Living Skills Program is intended to provide youth and adults with disabilities the life skills to live independently in the community. Our direct care staff assist clients with services that develop, maintain and improve the community living skills. We do this by providing an assessment in the areas of need and developing measurable goals. Quarterly reviews are completed to do continued assessment of ongoing needs. Goals and objectives are modified as needed. ILS training is direct training from a staff person to address the identified skill development needs.
