Learn valuable skills in our senior independent living trainings. This program provides direct training from a staff person to assist clients develop, maintain and improve their community living skills. The goal is to provide youth and adults with disabilities the life skills to live independently in the community. Our direct care staff carry out a plan to address skill development needs identified in an initial assessment. Through regular reviews, we assess the client's ongoing needs and adjust the plan and objectives as needed.
Our care coordinator can help you develop and manage a personalized care plan for your loved one. Explore the following categories: support with activities of daily living; household management assistance; health, safety, and wellness oversight; community living engagement; adaptive support; and active cognitive support.
Community-Directed Community Support (CDCS) includes services and supports now available through Medical Assistance waivers. It allows you to buy non-traditional supports, such as special therapies, assistive technology and home and vehicle modifications. CDCS includes all services and supports available through Home and Community Based waivers. It also allows you to buy non-traditional supports that are not available through other waiver options.
With the Private Pay option, insurance is not required. PCA and homemaking services are available to private-pay clients.
